Trekking from Ouadane to Chinguetti
1st DAY ITALY - NOUAKCHOTT
Arrival at the airport, border formalities, then transfer to a 4-star hotel and overnight stay.
2nd DAY NOUAKCHOTT - OUADANE
Transfer in the morning to the Ouadane oasis, partly on asphalt and partly on track (170 km). Lunch along the way. Arrival at destination and accommodation at the Ecolodge Ouadane, dinner and overnight stay.
3rd DAY OUADANE
Day entirely dedicated to visiting the ancient caravan city, its libraries, and excursion in the afternoon to the surrounding areas to admire a guelta and an example of prehistoric wall art. Full board at the lodge. .

4TH DAY TANOCHERT OASIS - ERG OUARANE
Distance approximately 10 km, difference in altitude 200 m, 5 hours of walking
Short transfer by 4x4 to the Tanochert oasis where we meet the camels and our guides who will accompany us during the trek.
In the silence of the most authentic Sahara desert, still inhabited today by numerous nomadic shepherds, we take the pace step by step. Full board and bivouac.
5th / 7th DAY THE SEA OF SAND
Distance: 13 km per day, difference in altitude approximately 200 m, 4 or 5 hours of walking.
Mount Ehrour reveals itself, the last rocky relief before the sea of sand. The shade of the acacias of the R'Kawiya oued suggests a well-deserved break. A few more steps and we find ourselves in the heart of the erg, crossed by the mghalig (name given by the nomads to the wind corridors in the dunes), with sandy landscapes as far as the eye can see. Full board and bivouac.
8TH DAY ERG OUARANE - MAGHLAG AL TALHAYA
Distance: 15 km with a difference in altitude of approximately 200 metres, 4 or 5 hours of walking.
After a few days of wandering among the dunes, the loss of reference points is total. The sensation is strange, the break with our usual brutal world, we become nomads ... The Maghlag al Talhaya will be the setting of our last camp, among the acacias. Full board and bivouac.
9th DAY CHINGUETTI - VALLE BLANCHE
Distance approximately 7 km, difference in altitude 100 m, 3 hours of walking.
When we seem to be lost forever in the middle of the sand, suddenly the Chinguetti oasis appears as if in a mirage at the end of the morning. Lunch. Walk through the alleys then departure by off-road vehicle for the Valle Blanche, full board and bivouac.
10th DAY VALLE BLANCHE - NOUAKCHOTT
In the morning we leave for the capital. Packed lunch. Upon arrival in Nouakchott, accommodation in a 4-star hotel, dinner and overnight stay
